ESCALATE is a vegan straight-edge hardcore band from Veszprém, Hungary. Formed in 2020 as the first fully vegan straight-edge band in their country, they use hardcore as a weapon against speciesism, oppression, and complacency.
Following their debut full-length “Consequences” on New Age Records, ESCALATE toured extensively across Europe, spreading their militant XVX message and uncompromising DIY ethics. Rooted in 90s vegan straight-edge hardcore, their sound is direct, confrontational, and aggressively modern.
Their five-song EP “The Cry Of Nature” pushes their message even further—louder, heavier, and more focused than ever. This is uncompromising hardcore driven by conviction and activism.
The 12" EP includes a silkscreened B-side and comes in strictly limited vinyl variants.
