On April 17th, HOLD MY OWN will release their first full length album, PAY NO MIND, through DAZE. Formed in 2021, the Chicago meets New Jersey band’s heavy hitting hardcore has roared across four EPs and a split, and impacted stages across the country touring with bands like Terror, Madball, and End It. With PAY NO MIND, HOLD MY OWN set out to write a 100% hardcore record that is true to their sound. The result is eleven tracks that burst with heavy guitar-driven rhythms, robust vocals, and explosive breakdowns.
PAY NO MIND was was engineered, recorded, and mixed by Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording, with vocals were engineered and recorded by Jayway at Bayway Studios, and mastering was done by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.
