Formed in Ontario, Canada in 2008, New Design is an emo/post-rock band built on friendship and a shared love for dynamic, emotional music. Taking cues from American Football, Moneen, Moving Mountains, and Toe, they craft immersive soundscapes filled with heartfelt lyrics and memorable melodies. Their discography includes the debut album Far From Home (2015), Where I Need To Be (2019), and the b-sides EP What Was Left Unsaid (2020), released via Sunday Drive Records. With tours across Canada and the U.S., they’ve shared the stage with bands like Prawn, Foxing, The Reign of Kindo, Tricot, and Don Ross, continuing to expand their reach while staying rooted in sincerity and atmosphere.
