AMYL AND THE SNIFERS – Comfort To Me [Vinyl LP]

With “Comfort To Me,” Amyl And The Sniffers channel the energy of a year without live shows into 13 uncompromising tracks. The Australian band’s second album was recorded in late 2020 with producer Dan Luscombe.

Musically, the record draws from old-school rock’n’roll and punk, with influences ranging from AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, Motörhead, and Wendy O. Williams to modern hardcore bands such as Warthog and Power Trip, alongside Australian acts including Coloured Balls and Cosmic Psychos.

Thirteen songs were selected from a total of 17 recorded for the album. Mixed by Nick Launay and mastered by Bernie Grundman, “Comfort To Me” combines raw rock’n’roll energy, punk attitude, and Amy Taylor’s direct and confident songwriting.
