The answer, as the band puts it, is simple: rock & roll. With “COLD 2 THE TOUCH,” Angel Du$t deliver their most ferocious, focused, and emotionally open album to date. Clocking in at 26 minutes, the record is a blast of crushing riffs, massive hooks, and raw, open-hearted existentialism that refuses to be boxed in. A powerful lineup of collaborators adds depth and surprise throughout the album. Jim Carroll shines on the epic “Zero,” featuring vocals from Wes Eisold (American Nightmare, Cold Cave). Patrick Cozens (Restraining Order) appears on “Downfall,” Frank Carter lends his voice to “Man On Fire,” and Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues) brings visceral intensity to “The Beat.” “COLD 2 THE TOUCH” captures what makes Angel Du$t unique: a space where vulnerability and violence coexist, where authenticity outweighs trends, and where aggressive rock & roll is both a weapon and a release.
