After bringing their crushing blend of death metal–infused metalcore across the West Coast for the past several years, Southern California’s Auditory Anguish self-released their “Tragedies Of Western Existence” three-song promo in 2023, followed by the “Crime Rituals” EP in 2024. Now aligned with Creator-Destructor Records, the band returns with their new EP “AFA,” delivering their most intense, critical, and fully realized material yet.
“AFA” fuses the band’s wide array of influences into a relentless alloy of hardcore and death metal. Elements of Xibalba, Deftones, Trash Talk, and Cannibal Corpse collide to form the DNA of their sound — heavy, punishing, atmospheric, and absolutely uncompromising.
