Trust Records presents the first official release of Bad Brains’ “Are You Ready: The First Studio Recording (Inner Ear – March 1979),” documenting the band’s earliest studio recordings from three years before their self-titled 1982 debut full-length.
The one-sided EP features six tracks, including the first studio recording of “Pay To Cum,” capturing Bad Brains at a particularly early stage of their hardcore sound.
The package includes a poly-lined inner sleeve, a double-sided insert with archival photos, and liner notes by Alec MacKaye of The Faith. The vinyl edition also features an etched B-side.
