Citizen celebrates the 10th anniversary of Everybody Is Going to Heaven with a deluxe vinyl reissue. This special edition features new gatefold packaging complete with updated photos, lyrics, and liner notes. The first disc includes the original 2015 album in full, while the second disc offers rare and unreleased material: the elusive B-side “Nail In Your Hand,” a new version of “Heaviside” featuring vocals by Wisp, and seven never-before-heard demos from the Everybody Is Going to Heaven sessions.
Originally released as a bold follow-up to Youth, Everybody Is Going to Heaven saw Citizen diving deeper into darker tones, dense atmospheres, and grunge-influenced textures. It marked a daring shift in sound that explored themes of mortality, depression, and identity with raw emotion and sonic experimentation. A decade later, it remains a cornerstone of the band’s evolution—a record that refused to play it safe and instead forged the path for Citizen’s ever-expanding creative vision.
