Some bands are true trailblazers, pushing genres into new territory — and more than thirty years ago, Conviction were exactly that. They took the late-’80s style of classic hardcore and pushed it into darker, heavier, more brooding territory, all while keeping the speed and aggression intact. Much like Judge or early Integrity, they reshaped the sound without losing its core.
This release brings together the newly remastered tracks from their two 7-inches onto a single vinyl format for the first time. Conviction stand as one of the most influential straight edge hardcore bands of the early 1990s, leaving a mark that continues to resonate throughout the genre.
