DESCENDENTS – Liveage (Colored Vinyl) [LP]

“Liveage!” captures Descendents live in 1987 at First Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Recorded during the tour for the band’s fourth studio album “All,” the release documents Descendents in a fast, intense, and high-energy live setting.

The tour was dubbed the “FinALL Tour” and marked the final run of shows before the band temporarily disbanded so vocalist Milo Aukerman could pursue a graduate degree in biochemistry. According to drummer Bill Stevenson, “Liveage!” also served as a live document and a kind of best-of compilation of the band’s early era.

The album features songs from across the Descendents catalog and captures the raw energy, melody, and speed that made the band a defining name in punk rock.
