Fading Signal came together in late 2019 with the goal of creating something distinct within North Carolina’s hardcore scene. Initially drawing influence from bands like Trash Talk and Ceremony, they released a demo and played just two shows before COVID put everything on hold. In 2024, the band regrouped to focus on their debut full-length, Only An Echo. Expanding on their earlier work, the record weaves in sharper melodies, heavier mosh parts, and more dynamic song structures alongside broadened lyrical themes.
