Still Holding On… marks the debut 12” EP from Los Angeles straight edge hardcore outfit Firestarter. Formed in 2019, the band delivers six new tracks that honor the spirit of both classic and modern youth crew hardcore.
Recorded in 2023 at Local Man Recording Studio in the High Desert and mixed by Taylor Young at The Pit, the EP captures the urgency of staples like Straight Ahead and Floorpunch while branching into broader territory influenced by acts such as Inside Out and Free.
With Still Holding On…, Firestarter proves that Los Angeles was just the starting point.
