Formed in 1987,
Freewill quickly established themselves as a cornerstone of the Southern California hardcore scene, sharing stages with legends like Uniform Choice, No For An Answer, Reason To Believe, and Insted. After recording their debut LP for Wishingwell Records, the label folded, leaving the album shelved indefinitely. Years later, the master tapes were sold without the band’s consent, resulting in unauthorized CD bootlegs via Lost & Found Records in Europe. Finally, in 2016, this
one-and-only LP received its first fully authorized release, bringing justice to Freewill’s enduring legacy in the hardcore punk scene.
