Sub Pop is thrilled to partner with Canadian punk legends Fucked Up for an exclusive, limited-edition 7” single featuring two brand-new hardcore anthems: “Disabuse” and “Self Driving Man.” These high-octane tracks are a nod to punk’s raw energy, taking inspiration from Poison Idea’s 1990 anti-oppression classic “Discontent” and the explosive sound of Japanese punk icons Paintbox’s “The Door.”
Blurring the lines between punk, hardcore, and grunge, these songs are perfectly at home on a Sub Pop release. "Disabuse" channels heartfelt emotion, with lyrics penned by Damian for his daughter, addressing themes of bullying and resilience.
