Washington, D.C.’s post-hardcore outfit Glitterer returns with their bold new record, “Erer.” Though the name may twist your tongue, fans will soon be calling it what it feels like — “the purple one.” Featuring a revamped lineup with drummer Robin Zeijlon and guitarist Colin Gorman joining Ned Russin and keyboardist Nicole Dao, the album was once again recorded by longtime collaborator Arthur Rizk. “Erer” delivers a massive, Albini-style sonic punch — wide-open stereo depth, shimmering keys, and powerful yet intricate drumming, wrapped in soaring multi-layered guitar leads. It’s Glitterer at their most dynamic, immersive, and unmistakably alive.
