IGNITE ´Where They Talk: 30th Anniversary Edition´ Vinyl 12"

In 1994, IGNITE burst onto the hardcore scene with their debut 7” EP, Where They Talk. This release showcased the band's raw energy and melodic edge, highlighted by Randy Johnson’s (AGAINST THE WALL, PUSHED ASIDE) intense vocal performance and the powerhouse lineup of Joe D. Foster (UNITY), Casey Jones (NO FOR AN ANSWER, JUSTICE LEAGUE), and Brett Rasmussen. Though Johnson's time with IGNITE was brief, his contribution left an indelible mark on the band’s trajectory.

Now, 30 years later, Where They Talk has been remastered and re-released by Revelation Records as a 12” vinyl and digital offering. This expanded edition includes two bonus tracks from IGNITE's Scarred For Life album, bringing the total to five tracks. Remastered by Will Borza in 2024, these recordings are now available digitally for the first time, and the vinyl pressing marks the first reissue since the original 1,000-copy run.

Recorded at Moonsong Studios in Riverside, CA, with engineer Bob Moon, the EP captures the essence of Orange County and Washington, D.C.-influenced hardcore, blending melody with unrelenting grit. Fans of UNIFORM CHOICE and DAG NASTY will recognize the parallels in IGNITE’s explosive sound, which has since become a defining feature of their extensive career.
