Iron Chic, a melodic punk band from Huntington Station, NY, has been a staple of the DIY punk scene since their formation in 2008. Their journey began with a five-song demo tape, followed by the Shitty Rambo 7” in 2009 and their debut full-length, Not Like This, in 2010, all released through Long Island's Dead Broke Rekerds. The band quickly gained attention, not just for their heartfelt and anthemic punk sound but also as a "supergroup" (Punknews.org), featuring members of Latterman, Small Arms Dealer, and others. Deeply rooted in the DIY ethos, this 2015 release saw Iron Chic recording the album themselves, preparing for what would become their most significant release to date.
