Texas-based Judiciary return with “Stalagmite Angels,” a new EP due September 4, 2026 through Closed Casket Activities. Following their second album “Flesh + Blood” and the addition of guitarist Juan Vazquez, the band used the lineup change as an opportunity for a musical reset.
The five tracks combine metallic hardcore with elements of death metal, black metal, and d-beat. Influences ranging from Hatebreed, Carcass, Slayer, and Iron Age to Dying Breed, Cannibal Corpse, Crowbar, and Machine Head are filtered through Judiciary’s own distinct approach.
Lyrically, “Stalagmite Angels” focuses on anger, self-belief, and personal growth. Its concept imagines a subterranean world where hidden beauty, darkness, and the struggle to rise back toward the surface are closely connected.
