LESS THAN JAKE – Borders & Boundaries: 25th Anniversary Edition (Colored Vinyl) [LP]
LESS THAN JAKE – Borders & Boundaries (25th Anniversary Edition) 2xLP
Originally released in 2000, “Borders & Boundaries” marked a bold evolution for third-wave ska veterans Less Than Jake. Produced by Steve Kravac, the album leaned more heavily into skate punk and pop punk than any of the band’s previous releases while still retaining their ska-punk roots.
Packed with fast tempos, infectious hooks, and socially aware lyrics, the album became a defining release of the era. Tracks like “Look What Happened” and “Gainesville Rock City” remain staples of the band’s catalog and the wider ska punk scene.
The 25th Anniversary Edition expands the original album with a new mix of “Is This Thing On?” along with five previously unreleased demo recordings, offering fans and collectors a deeper look into the making of this influential record.
