MILLENCOLIN ´SOS´ LP
Epitaph
Even after 26 years, eight albums and around 2000 concerts, the four Swedish skate punkers from Millencolin never tire of pleasing their fan camp. "We're a band truly formed from respect and understanding for each other and our passion for rock music," says singer and bassist Nikola Sarcevic. "If you ask us, this is the best job in the world!" The new and ninth studio album "SOS" follows the long-player "True Brew", which Millencolin released in 2015, and which they followed up with an EP of the same name in February 2016. On these, the melodycore veterans, founded in 1992, caused a stir, not least due to a socio-critical attitude. The album name, the cover artwork and song titles like "Dramatic Planet", "Trumpets & Poutine" and "So You Want War" underline that the Swedish foursome continues to make its rounds unflinchingly and reflects on political and social developments. In short: Millencolin must also be counted on in 2019!
