PIEBALD – Tales For The Rages (Deep Blue Vinyl) [LP]

After nearly two decades, Piebald return with “Tales For The Rages.” The album features 13 songs written and recorded between 2019 and 2025 following the band’s 2016 reunion. Rather than simply revisiting the past, the record carries Piebald’s distinctive emo and indie rock sound into a new chapter.

The album was tracked with longtime collaborator Doug Batchelder at The Den in North Reading, Massachusetts. Parts of the record were produced by Jay Maas (Title Fight, Citizen), with mastering handled by Jack Shirley (Joyce Manor).

“Tales For The Rages” combines massive melodies, vocal harmonies, and Piebald’s characteristic humor with reflections on inequality, human behavior, and the contradictions of the modern world. Released through Iodine Recordings, the album preserves the spirit of the band’s earlier work while moving forward with renewed urgency and clarity.
