Inspired by a quote from Carl Sagan, the album finds Walter Schreifels reflecting on the past through the lens of the present. The result is a record that balances introspection with the band’s signature energy and drive.
Musically, the album spans a wide range—from the hook-driven heaviness of “Get To It” to the atmospheric, shoegaze-influenced sound of “Crystallize.” Despite its diversity, the record remains unmistakably Quicksand, blending heavy riffs, groove, and melody.
