Formed in late 2022, Albany, NY’s Spiritkiller has quickly gained a reputation for their infectious, groove-heavy riffs and high-energy live performances. Led by guitarist Tom Schlatter—veteran of the New Jersey hardcore and screamo scenes (ex-You And I/The Assistant, current Saetia/Hundreds Of AU)—Spiritkiller brings a fresh perspective to the classic hardcore sound of the late 1990s. Vocalist Charles Cure (ex-Endicott, current Hush) amplifies their dynamic approach with a style reminiscent of the urgent ferocity of Refused and Snapcase, balanced with a touch of melody. This debut LP includes an etched B-side, making it a must-have for hardcore enthusiasts.
