SQUINT ´Drag´ Vinyl 12"

Squint isn’t slowing down. Just a year after their LP “Big Hand,” the post-hardcore band returns with “Drag,” a six-track EP loaded with grit, riffs, and urgency. Recorded with punk/hardcore producer Andy Nelson at Bricktop Recording (Weekend Nachos, Harm’s Way, and more), the EP showcases some of Squint’s most direct yet dynamic material to date.

The record opens with “Squintro Pt. 2,” a 40-second callback to their debut EP “Feel It,” before sliding into “Green Grass,” which shifts from driving post-hardcore into a rhythmic, alt-rock-leaning anthem. This balance defines “Drag”: fast, urgent songwriting combined with dynamics that allow for pauses, claps, and big sing-along moments.

On “Drag,” Squint sound confident, sharp, and fully realized, moving smoothly across moods and styles while always remaining unmistakably Squint.
