“New Again” is the fourth studio album by Taking Back Sunday, originally released in 2009. The record was produced by David Kahne and Matt Squire.
The album marked a transitional period for the band following the departure of guitarist Fred Mascherino and the addition of Matthew Fazzi. Musically, “New Again” moved Taking Back Sunday toward a more aggressive alternative-rock direction while retaining the melodic and emotional elements associated with the band.
