“Sandbox” is the fifth studio album by The All-American Rejects from Stillwater, Oklahoma. The band continues its DIY approach while combining years of experience with the power-pop and alternative-rock sound that first put them on the map.
The album was tracked primarily at Wheelhouse Studios, guitarist Nick Wheeler’s hand-built recording space. “Sandbox” was produced by Wheeler, vocalist Tyson Ritter, and keyboardist Scott Chesak.
The songs blend memorable melodies, direct guitars, modern production, and the band’s characteristic songwriting style. The vinyl edition is available on “mystery” colored vinyl.
