“Harsh Reality” is the fourth studio album by The Drowns from Seattle, Washington. The band delivers a direct, politically charged punk rock record with clear conviction, raw energy, and memorable songwriting.

Singer/guitarist Rev Peters, singer/bassist Andy Wylie, and drummer Jake Margolis played the majority of the tracks themselves. Additional guitar on “Vengeance” comes from Zach Blair (Rise Against, Only Crime, Gwar), while Matt Hensley (A-100s, Flogging Molly) adds accordion to “3rd & Pike.”

“Harsh Reality” blends street punk, punk rock, and melodic grit into a powerful album that captures The Drowns in strong form.
